Bespoke fitted wardrobes, fitted furniture and made-to-measure joinery in Hendon and NW4.
The houses in Hendon
Hendon is the classic 1930s suburb: bay-fronted semis in long runs, with mansion blocks and newer flats nearer the centre.
The bay-fronted semi has a first-floor bedroom where the bay eats the wall that a wardrobe would otherwise stand against. Building around the bay, or along the opposite wall floor to ceiling, is the usual answer.
That is the point of building rather than buying. A wardrobe made for the room goes to the ceiling, into the alcove and up to the skirting, and the awkward bits of the house become storage instead of dead air.

Built for the room, not bought for it
Every job starts the same way: someone comes out, measures the room as it really is, and prices the work. Walls are never quite straight and floors are never quite level, so the parts are made to suit what is actually there and scribed in on site.
That is the difference between a wardrobe that fits Hendon and one that fits a catalogue.

Max at Barraclough Carpentry built a bespoke wardrobe for me, and I’m really pleased with the result. He was professional and easy to deal with throughout, and the team he brought along were excellent too. I’d happily recommend them.
Hendon questions
Do you cover all of Hendon?
Yes, the whole of NW4 and the streets around it. Travel is included in the price, so there is no mileage charge wherever in the area you are.
Do you take a deposit?
Yes, 50% when you go ahead and the balance on completion. It is written on the bottom of the quote so there are no surprises.
How much is a fitted wardrobe in Hendon?
It depends on the run and how the inside is laid out, so the honest answer is that we need to see the room. The visit and the quote are both free, and the price comes by email afterwards so you have it in writing.
How long will you be in the house?
It depends on the size of the job. You will get the timescale with the price, and the room is cleared at the end of every day rather than left as a building site while the work is going on.
