Fitted wardrobes and carpentry in Rickmansworth
Bespoke fitted wardrobes, fitted furniture and made-to-measure joinery in Rickmansworth and WD3.
The houses in Rickmansworth
Rickmansworth ranges from period cottages in the town to large detached houses in Loudwater and Moor Park.
The larger houses here are where dressing rooms and walk-in wardrobes make sense, and where a run of joinery is expected to match the quality of everything else in the room.
That is the point of building rather than buying. A wardrobe made for the room goes to the ceiling, into the alcove and up to the skirting, and the awkward bits of the house become storage instead of dead air.

Built for the room, not bought for it
Every job starts the same way: someone comes out, measures the room as it really is, and prices the work. Walls are never quite straight and floors are never quite level, so the parts are made to suit what is actually there and scribed in on site.
That is the difference between a wardrobe that fits Rickmansworth and one that fits a catalogue.

I cannot praise Max the owner of Barraclough Carpentry enough.
Max’s work is of the highest quality. His courteous manner, skill, expertise and professionalism was very impressive.
Clear communication throughout the works and was very punctual on arrival times and cleared and tidied up each day before leaving.
If anyone requires carpentry works to be undertaken, look no further, Max is your man.
Rickmansworth questions
Do you cover all of Rickmansworth?
Yes, the whole of WD3 and the streets around it. Travel is included in the price, so there is no mileage charge wherever in the area you are.
How much is a fitted wardrobe in Rickmansworth?
It depends on the run and how the inside is laid out, so the honest answer is that we need to see the room. The visit and the quote are both free, and the price comes by email afterwards so you have it in writing.
How long will you be in the house?
It depends on the size of the job. You will get the timescale with the price, and the room is cleared at the end of every day rather than left as a building site while the work is going on.
Can you build around a chimney breast in a Rickmansworth house?
That is the most common job there is. An alcove either side of a breast is exactly the shape nothing off a shelf will fit, and exactly the shape a built-in cupboard is for.
